Privacy Policy

Drip Timer is designed to let you manage your brewing records on your own device. This policy explains what data the app handles and how it is used.

Effective: July 30, 2026 / Last updated: August 10, 2026

In brief Recipes, beans, brew history, ratings, and notes stay on your device and are not sent to the developer's servers. RevenueCat and Apple process purchase-related information only to provide and restore in-app purchases.

1. Scope

This policy applies to the Drip Timer application (the “App”) and its support channel. The App is operated by the Drip Timer developer.

2. Data stored on your device

Coffee records

Recipes, beans, inventory, brew history, ratings, and brew notes

App preferences

Language, theme, sound, haptics, and display preferences

The App stores this information in a local database to provide its features. The developer does not transmit it to a developer-operated server, sync it to a developer cloud service, or use it for advertising.

3. Data processed for in-app purchases

The App uses the Apple App Store and RevenueCat to process purchases, check entitlements, and restore purchases. These services may process:

  • An anonymous App User ID
  • Transaction information such as product, purchase date, and purchase status
  • Purchase receipts issued by Apple
  • Technical information such as device type, OS, and last-seen time

The App does not provide RevenueCat with your name, email address, or a custom account ID. Apple processes payment details such as card numbers; the developer does not receive them.

For more information, see the RevenueCat Privacy Policy and Apple's App Store & Privacy notice.

4. Data the App does not collect

The App does not access location, contacts, photos, or health information. It includes no advertising SDK and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

5. Support requests

The support form collects the selected app, request type, message, and any optional device details to reply, communicate with you, and resolve the issue. An email address is collected only if you request a reply. Submissions are stored in Firebase Firestore. They become eligible for automatic deletion 180 days after receipt and are normally deleted within the following 24 hours, unless longer retention is required by law or to resolve a dispute. The form uses Firebase App Check and reCAPTCHA Enterprise to prevent abuse. Google may process device and connection information for risk assessment. For new-request notifications, only the selected app, request type, receipt time, and internal ID are sent through Gmail. The message, email address, and device details are not included in notification emails.

This privacy page does not include advertising, analytics, or tracking scripts. It is delivered through Firebase Hosting, where Google may process access information for delivery and security.

6. Retention and deletion

  • You can delete recipes, beans, and brew history individually in the App.
  • You can delete remaining local App data by uninstalling the App.
  • Apple or RevenueCat may retain purchase records as needed for restoration, fraud prevention, accounting, and legal obligations.

To request access to or deletion of information processed through RevenueCat, contact the developer using the support page below. Requests are handled subject to applicable law and each service's retention obligations.

7. Security and international processing

The App uses encrypted connections for purchase-related communications. Service providers such as RevenueCat may process data outside your country of residence. They are required to protect it under applicable law and contractual safeguards.

8. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the App, its service providers, or applicable requirements change. Material changes will be communicated on this page or in the App.
