1. Information stored on your device
The App mainly stores the following information on your device:
- Trip names, dates, budgets, display currencies, card fee settings, exchange-rate caches, refresh history, and similar settings
- Purchase history, store names, amounts, categories, payment methods, notes or item names, information needed for tax-free estimates, and receipt images saved with purchases
- CSV export files and export history when you export data. CSV files include purchase dates, store names, amounts, currencies, tax labels, categories, payment methods, notes or item names, and similar purchase details
If device backup, cloud backup, or device transfer is enabled, app data and exported CSV files may be stored or restored outside the device according to the OS, device manufacturer, or backup service settings.
2. Camera and OCR
Receipt images are temporarily processed on your device for text recognition. They are not uploaded to an external server for OCR.
After recognition, the temporary capture file is deleted. Only when you save a purchase is a receipt image copy stored on your device as purchase evidence.
The App stores purchase information that you review and save, such as amount, store name, and date, plus receipt images linked to saved purchases.
3. External communication
When fetching exchange rates, the App sends minimal request data, such as
currency codes, to api.frankfurter.dev. External services may
receive network information such as IP address to the extent necessary to
process requests.
The App does not use advertising SDKs, general-purpose behavioral analytics SDKs that collect screen views or interactions, or its own account sync service. RevenueCat's purchase-related processing is described under In-App Purchases.
4. In-App Purchases
On supported platforms, the App configures RevenueCat without providing a custom App User ID. Apple/App Store handles payment. The App does not collect or store card numbers or payment credentials.
RevenueCat may process the anonymous App User ID, product IDs, purchase history and status, transaction identifiers, entitlement status, and technical data needed to operate the SDK, such as app and SDK versions, device and operating-system information, locale and currency code, and network information including IP address. The purposes are purchase validation, enabling features, restore, fraud prevention, support, and purchase-related dashboard analytics such as Customer History and Charts.
The current App code does not provide RevenueCat with a custom account ID, name, email address, advertising identifier, or custom customer attributes. The App does not link the anonymous ID to your identity. Reinstalling the App may generate a new anonymous ID, and restoring purchases may associate App Store purchase history with that anonymous ID.
5. CSV sharing
When you share a CSV file, the purchase history file is passed to the app or service you choose. After sharing, handling of the data is governed by the selected app or service's terms and privacy policy.
6. External websites
The App may open external websites when you choose to view airport guidance or official reference information. External website content, availability, and data handling are controlled by each website operator.
7. Ads, analytics, and tracking
The App does not use advertising SDKs, IDFA, or cross-app tracking for advertising. RevenueCat analytics are limited to purchase-related data used for Customer History, Charts, and operation of the purchase service.
The App does not sell personal information or share it for advertising purposes. If this policy changes in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated.
8. Processing outside your country or region
Apple/App Store, RevenueCat, exchange-rate providers, and apps or services you share with may process data outside your country or region of residence.
9. Deletion and retention
Purchase history, trip data, and CSV export files can be deleted using in-app delete actions or device file management. When you uninstall the App, app data stored on the device is removed according to operating-system behavior.
Before version 1.1, an identifier derived from Sign in with Apple may have been associated with a RevenueCat purchaser ID. Version 1.1 removes the legacy identifier stored on the device and uses an anonymous ID going forward. Information previously retained by App Store, RevenueCat, or services you share with remains subject to each service's retention policy, privacy policy, and deletion procedures. Contact support for access or deletion requests.
10. Support inquiries
The support form collects the selected app, inquiry category and message, and any device information you choose to provide. An email address is collected only if you request a reply. Submissions are stored in Firebase Firestore and are scheduled for automatic deletion after 180 days, usually within the following 24 hours. Information may be kept longer when required for legal obligations or dispute handling.
Firebase App Check and reCAPTCHA Enterprise are used to reduce abuse, and Google may process device and network information for abuse detection. A notification containing only the app, category, reply preference, receipt time, and management ID is sent through Gmail. The message, email address, and device details are not included in the notification email.
Firebase and Google may process support information outside your country or region of residence. The privacy and support pages do not use advertising, analytics, or tracking scripts.
11. Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 or to children who require parental consent under the laws of their country or region. The App does not knowingly collect children's personal information.
12. Contact
To request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or similar handling of data, contact us through the support page.
13. Changes
This policy may be updated to reflect feature additions, service changes, legal requirements, or App Store requirements.
